NRL players have been joining the rush of Sydneysiders buying and selling real estate during the current boom market, with many making purchases just in time for the start of the new season.

Players from the Roosters to the Tigers have made moves all across the city from the Central Coast to the Sutherland Shire ahead of the first round of games.

And it comes as research group CoreLogic revealed property prices grew in February at the fastest rate in 17 years.

Buyer demand in NSW has spiked more than 50 per cent on levels recorded before the COVID-19 outbreak while listings have slumped to record lows in some areas.

It’s created long lines of homebuyers at open for inspections and a pressure cooker sales environment where buyers are snapping up homes days after they hit the market in some instances.
