The perfect retreat when you’ve had enough of sex and the city: Author Candace Bushnell puts her rural home on the market for $1.8million 

  • Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell has put her plush three-bed farmhouse on sale for a cool $1,365,000.

The classy property in Roxbury, Connecticut, that was built around the 1830s, comes with an outdoor pool and a guest house. It covers 1,469 square feet and sits on three acres of land.

The multi-millionaire writer bought the home in 2005 for $661,500.

According to Curbed.com, the sale follows Bushnell’s recent purchase of a New York property in Sag Habor. Carolyn Klemm, founder of Klemm Real Estate who is representing the seller said it is ‘a great opportunity for a buyer’.
