A real estate agent accused of attacking a woman with a samurai sword at his home in Sydney’s inner west in February has listed the property for sale.
Karl Howard was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, wounding with intent to murder and trespassing after two women were attacked in the early hours of February 8.
The house he owns, at 73 Ferris Street in Annandale, was the scene of the alleged crime.
Mr Howard, 44, was the principal of Ray White in Balmain. He has been stood down.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom house is open for inspection this Saturday before it goes to auction on Saturday, April 10.
The property is advertised as a “light-filled architecturally designed warehouse”, which has “a peaceful executive sanctuary with an emphasis on alfresco entertaining”.
The property has a price guide of $2.1 to 2.2 million, according to Belle Property agent Simone Azzi. It sold for $1.85 million in November 2016.
“The house was always planning to go on the market,” Ms Azzi said. “Regardless of the circumstances, the family instructed me to proceed with the sale.
