’Sheepish’ buyers lingering for longer

• UNCERTAINTY in the Perth market has produced a new breed of “procrastinating” house-hunters who are taking longer than ever to make buying decisions.

But industry figures are warning buyers should be wary of “dragging their feet” for too long if they want to grab an affordable home.

New statistics compiled for The Sunday Times byMortgage Choice show the average time buyers in WA spend looking for their first property has more than doubled since 2013.
