A prominent real estate agent has been accused of attacking two women with a samurai sword at his Sydney home.
Karl Howard, 44, allegedly injured the pair at his property on Ferris Street in Annandale, the city’s inner west, at about 5am on Monday.
Police allege the assault began when Howard punched one of the women, 27, in the head.
The other woman, 29, then intervened and was allegedly struck with a samurai sword.
Howard allegedly fled the scene, while the two women went to a neighbouring residence and called police.
One of the alleged victims is in an intimate relationship with Howard after meeting recently online, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Emergency crews were called to the home on Ferris Street in Annandale, Sydney’s inner west, at about 5am on Monday
The other woman is her friend.
