A Melbourne couple have revealed how they transformed a ‘tired’ apartment into their dream home in the space of 11 days, and they only spent $15,000 in the process.

Jasmine Janabi, 29, said her mother-in-law has had the apartment for around 17 years, but it was only recently rented out to the 29-year-old and her partner, so when they moved in they decided they wanted to put their own stamp on the space.

‘I love planning and designing and it’s always been my dream to renovate a home, so when we moved in, I asked if I could renovate the apartment,’ Jasmine told FEMAIL.

The results of her handiwork showcase a stunning modern space complete with monochrome interiors, modern fittings and a unique feel.
