NRL star Ryan Matterson has made a steady profit following the sale of his luxury inner-Sydney pad.

The 27-year-old Parramatta Eels player secured a $1.12million deal for the Botany unit only four days after it was listed on the market.

It is a new sale record for the complex, which was previously set at $980,500, according to Realestate.com.au.

‘Ryan purchased the property the year he was playing for the Roosters when they won the premiership,’ said selling agent Stephanie Farah from NG Farah in Coogee.

‘It was his first property and was owner-occupied, but he since leased it out for $775 per week.’

Matterson bought the unit in 2018 for $915,000, with the sale netting him a $205,000 profit.
