Two mums have shaken up the real estate industry selling 17 homes in their first month of business – including one for more than $4million which sold in just one week.

Jenny Wegner and Julie Bible from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria describe themselves as ‘two women kicking butt’ since launching their business Bayview Property.

They were sick of the male-dominated real estate industry’s focus on ‘the husband’ and ‘man of the house’.

Julie Bible has only recently joined the realestate game - before this she was a decorator and uses her skills to style the properties
Jenny Wegner has been selling homes for over ten years and decided to break free from male dominated aspects of the industry

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia they revealed ‘women are the ones making these decisions’.

‘It’s the women choosing the properties. It’s the women with the cheque books.’

Jenny has 11 years experience in real estate while Julie is an interior designer trying her hand at selling houses.

And so far there have been ‘happy dances every day’ – something Jenny said she expected following the Covid lock downs.

‘People want to continue working from home, which means they can live out here on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula,’ she said.
