Inside the $40 million lavish waterfront mansion named ‘Berthong’ that was owned by Russell Crowe and the Murdoch family 

  • One of Sydney’s oldest and most lavish waterfront residences, previously owned by Hollywood star, Russell Crowe, and the Murdoch family, has hit the market and is expected to fetch around $37 million to $40 million.

The residence known as Berthong in Elizabeth Bay, a harbourside suburb in eastern Sydney, has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and four parking spots.

Built in 1886, the historic Victorian villa sits alongside another iconic Sydney home, the Boomerang House, which is being privately sold for about $60 million, Domain reported.



The property was previously owned by Hollywood star, Russel Crow and media mogul, Rupert Murdoch and his family
