A real estate agent harassed and stalked her ex-boyfriend for months before she kneed him in the groin during an ugly confrontation at a popular nightspot, a court has heard.
Ainslee Cardillo, 20, from Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, launched a relentless harassment campaign against her ex after the pair’s 18 month relationship ended on bad terms in June 2020.
A court has heard how the former Danebank Anglican School for Girls student tried to contact him through Instagram, bombarded him with abusive texts and yelled at him from outside his home and threw things at the front door, the St George Standard reported.
Ainslee Cardillo (pictured) pleaded guilty to one count of stalking and intimidation and one count of common assault against her former boyfriend
‘Some of the texts included ‘if I find out you touched a girl I’ll f****** ruin everything’, and ‘I warned you I did way worse than message, you will f***** see’,’ police facts tendered to Sutherland Local Court state.
Cardillo’s ex made numerous attempts to end the online harassment by blocking Instagram accounts she had set up to contact, the court heard.
She then tried to communicate by transferring him money with notes such as ‘I need you, I love you, talk to me please’, the publication reported.
Tensions hit boiling point when the pair came face to face at popular Cronulla nightspot Northies.
The real estate agent and former private girl student from Sydney’s Sutherland Shire harassed her former boyfriend for seven months following their bitter break-up in June 2020
Police facts tendered to the court claim Cardillo poured a drink over her ex’s back and head and went to grab another beverage to throw at him when another patron intervened and stopped her.
