THE vendor of a futuristic space age-style NSW Tweed Coast house hopes to capitalise on interstate appreciation for progressive architecture to secure a buyer for his unique property.
The beachfront Casuarina residence appears to defy gravity, with the 80-tonne top-level cantilevered on the ground floor structure in a dramatic design reminiscent of The Jetsons TV animation.
Expressions of interest are being called for the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house on 849 sqm at 1 Beech Lane where features include a 25m heated lap pool, a soccer pitch and in-ground trampoline.
It’s the second attempt at selling the property, after it passed in at $3.4 million in April of last year in what was one of the world’s first live-streamed cryptocurrency auctions.
