TOP rating 2GB radio broadcaster Alan Jones has secured $4.65 million for his Avoca Beach weekender on the Central Coast.
The Bellevue Hill-based Hochroth family has emerged as the mystery buyer, bettering the coast’s apartment record set nine years prior.
The holiday let apartment, known as the Lighthouse, had been bought by Jones for $4.5 million in 2008 when sold by Macquarie Banker Michael Cook and wife Barbara.
Jones recently spent $10.5 million on a three-bedroom apartment in the ‘Toaster’ building at Circular Quay.
